Reiki

Balancing | Liberating | Gentle

Reiki is based on the belief that we all have energy running through our bodies which is non metabolised. In Eastern medicine this energy is sometimes called Chi. This energy is also all around us in the atmosphere and environment.

Stress, illness and trauma can destabilise this energy. It will become stagnant and depleted. In a Reiki treatment the therapist works to replenish and balance this energy to improve general wellbeing and allow the body to heal.

You do not need to get undressed to receive Reiki but do wear lose fitting clothing to ensure your own comfort. The therapist may not touch you during a treatment or will use very gentle touch.

Although Reiki is extremely beneficial when we are unwell or experiencing stress it is also an excellent treatment for maintaining health and wellbeing and promoting a good quality of sleep.
