The massage therapies we offer can improve your mental, physical and emotional health.
We offer a subsidised service for people who have chronic mental, physical and emotional health issues and low incomes. Conditions include depression, stress & anxiety to more physical conditions such as chronic pain, Parkinson’s disease, chronic fatigue syndrome or forms of cancer.
If you would like to receive treatments here, ask your Doctor, a medical professional, healthcare practitioner or support worker to refer you to us.
What to expect from your first appointment
The first appointment you have will include a consultation with one of our lovely therapists. They are really welcoming and experienced – they will ask you what you are looking to gain from the treatment (e.g. relieving chronic pain) and you will need to talk them through your health issues.
You will then be left to undress (if necessary) in the privacy of the therapy room. You will lie on the couch under towels. During the treatment the therapist will use the towels to ensure that you are always covered. Only the part of your body being massaged will be uncovered at any one time. All massage treatments are done in a private room.
After the session, the therapist will be happy to advise you about other treatments that may suit you.
Our therapists are fully qualified, have professional indemnity insurance, are Police checked and members of a relevant professional body that requires them to undertake continuing professional development. They are extremely skilled in their therapies.
