The Referral Process:
Your Doctor/healthcare practitioner/support worker needs to contact us to make the referral
They will pass on your contact details and explain the reason for the referral. To do this, they simply ring 0113 234 0818 – it will take just a few minutes.
We will call you to confirm we have received your referral and give you further information about our service. We will also agree the cost of your treatments.
You can book your first appointment! If you are unsure which treatment will suit you, a relaxation massage is a great place to start.
There is no waiting list for this service – you can book straightaway or call us back to book at a time that suits you.
What to expect
When you arrive at Phoenix, you’ll be greeted by our friendly Reception team
Your therapist will come to you and take you to your room
They will ask you a few questions to help understand what you’d like from the treatment
The therapist will then leave you for a moment so you can undress (if required) and get comfortable
During your treatment, you can talk to your therapist as much or little as you would like to, including feedback on the treatment
After your treatment, the therapist will leave the room for a moment to let you get dressed (again, if required) and bring you a glass of water
They will share after-care tips tailored to you
Our Therapists:
Highly skilled in their specialist therapies
Motivated by helping others feel good
Will openly explain if they think that you would benefit from a different treatment type (even if that means with one of our other therapists)
Give easy-to-do aftercare to maximise the benefits of your treatment (sometimes this is: “have a long, lovely bath…”)
Fully qualified
Have professional indemnity insurance and police checked
Members of a relevant professional body that requires them to undertake continuing professional development
