This treatment releases tension from the muscles and joints of the shoulders, neck, scalp, and face, areas that we all hold tension in but seldom think of massaging. Tension in these areas can be very debilitating causing headaches, insomnia, sleep disturbance and sinusitis among other things.
The therapist will massage your shoulders, neck and scalp to relieve tension. They will also gently work on pressure points on your face to promote deep relaxation.
In this treatment the tension will be gently massaged from your shoulders, head and face. It is wonderfully soothing and calming.

What to expect:
Before you get here, please make sure you’ve filled out your pre-session form (this is included in your booking confirmation email – you only need to do this once)
When you arrive at Phoenix, you’ll be greeted by our friendly Reception team
Your therapist will come to you and take you to your room
They will ask you a few questions to help understand what you’d like from the treatment
You can have this treatment sitting in a chair or lying on a couch and there is no need to undress. Make sure that you wear lose clothing so that the therapist can work on the muscles of the shoulders and neck
During your treatment, you can talk to your therapist as much or little as you would like to, including feedback on the treatment
After your treatment, the therapist will leave the room for a moment and bring you a glass of water
They will share after-care tips tailored to you
